An artist’s bio is meant to be written in the third person, but I’m taking a more personal approach…!

I’m a multi-disciplinary visual artist working across printmaking, photography, and textiles. After graduating from the London College of Fashion in 2010, I worked in the fashion and beauty industry for over a decade until 2024, when I returned to formal education and completed a CertHE in Fine Art.

My work is often autobiographical and I’m particularly interested in feminist narratives, exploring the many tensions between internal reality and external expectation for women. Vulnerability, emotional complexity and imperfection are recurrent themes for me, and I invites viewers to interrogate the boundary between sincerity and satire. Having originally trained in the precision of pattern cutting, I enjoy juxtaposing exaction with a sense of ‘unruliness’ in my creative process now.

As the daughter of a professional gardener, the natural world is also deeply influential in my work. I often return to plants and organic forms as a way of considering themes of beauty, fragility and resilience through the lens of female experience.

I live and work in East London and I’m part of the Bow Arts community at Barking Riverside.
